iTunes on my Mac and I have a Porsche external hardrive with 160 GB of storage and I have 33,000 songs. My father is a music collector and as you can tell I have followed suit. I have all genres and it comes out to about 300+ albums. I tranfered many of my valuable and rare CDs to this format and keep the actual copies in storage.
