I recognize it doesn't always make the cut, but it certainly made my list, and those of several others. So for those of you who answered my "48 hours before you die question," and for anyone else really, why is it that 'lots of sex" tends to make the list quite often?
Any insight?

The natural inclination is to HURRY UP AND GET SOMEONE PREGNANT SO I CAN LIVE ON. Sex and death are always going to remain intertwined in people's psyche. They're opposties.
Death is the end, Sex is Life, or the continuation of life, which is all we as mortals may hope for. No one lives forever, and even if you could, how would you remember EVERYTHING? You cant even remember every day of your 2nd grade classroom activities, and for some of you that wasnt that long ago. Experiences would crowd in on you and you would incapable of making even the easiest decisions.
So living a finite number of years is just how we're built. Accepting the fact that ANY day could be your last, is what makes people BETTER people. You start using that mindset and all of a sudden you start thinking, "Man, do I really need to be doing this? Is THIS what I want to be doing my last 2 days on Earth?"
Or maybe its just I have cute chicks within 2 days of my house. I dont know.

I think because sex is generaly equated with love (I believe often falsly) But I can think of no better way to spend the last 2 days of my life than with someone who I deeply love.
If I thought sex was the same as love, I would certainly place it high on the list for my last two days.

well everyone wants to go out with a BANG. I think if i had 48 hours to live i would have as much sex as before i had kids.. now I would probably do what that one guy did in a movie. I would probably make a movie for my kids telling them as much as I could

i guess it is b/c people like it and y not do it u only have 24 hours however im not one of those people i feel im to young to have sex yet so i cant really give my opinion bout sex but i didnt have that as my answer maybe after i do i will

hmmmmmmm i geus cause sex is seen as fun but hey i wouldn't spend 48 hrs doing it maybe 45 shop for the rest!

The truth is that you need to be "born again" but the fact is that people are obsessed with sex so much that it's not a surprise that this is what they will do.

Sex is brilliant and gives you a real feelgood factor afterwards.So if I had tons of sex leading up to my death, I'd be so post-orgasmic, I'd die happy.

One of your primary instincts is to reproduce and it is logical for it to kick in in a situation like this.
Also probably because pheromones hormones released during sex) work like drugs and they alter your state of depression.
Hell sex is good for every occasion....
