im 18 and it seems like i cant ever find a group of people that can become my frinds to go out with on friday nights....i live in jacksonville florida....the friends i have are either younger than me and cant go out or they are just my "work friends...and they do drugs or have problems...i have a best friend who is 18 but we want to go out with a group of people not just our selves....CAN SOMEBODY OUT THERE HELP ME????

my friend moved to a new area and she didn't know anyone and she went to meet.com and there they have group with diff. interests you can join.i think it's free and people just meet up places and bowl,or cook,or whatever interest you have and sign up for.

Try a different social group - join a club, volunteer at a local community theater group, take up a new hobby, hang out at a different coffee house/bar/restaurant. Check the local newspapers for a "what's happening" listing. It should show meeting times for organizations. Pick one that sounds interesting, and go. If you don't like it, go to the next one on the list. If you can't find the listing, call the papers and ask them if they have one.
Also, craigslist.com has a page devoted just the the Jacksonville area. Look there to see what you might find interesting.

I wish I was close to u guys I need the same thing am 23 and my freinds are older with family, it sucks
