I think it is a matter of pride . They want to say something and they are too ignorant to realize that they are being ridicule

I would definitely be open to education before offering an opion on something I know nothing about, or I wouldn't offer an opinion. I just posted a question in regards to a "racial" statistic and I guarantee you I'm going to get at lease ONE answer where a person is going to be offended, JUST because they don't realize that the statistic is truly racial because it breaks the measured population up by ethnicity. LOL I'm waiting to see if it happens, then I can go back and maybe "educate" someone on the definition of "racial". Judging is also a basic human act, whether educated or not. We all do it.

It depends on the specific issue. I personaly try not to discuss things I know nothing about but if the issue is something I don't care to know anything about I probably would not spend the time to educate myself on the issue. But at the same time, I normally would then also not talk that much about it. But most people when pressed with make a snap decision if pressed for an opinion. Others are afraid of sounding like they are not informed and having an opinion (even if it's wrong) make them sound as if they are more intelegent. While still others just get their jollies out of being difficult, specially when they feel safe and their identitiy is conceled.

haha that is so true for all of us here trying to pretend we know things by answering questions. but its fun. theres a difference between judging and giving an opinion though isnt there? we all have opionions, which might be coming from conditioning or from some other place i dont know, intuition maybe or something.i mean one can hardly be educated about everything, in the physical way no? maybe there is physical education, what u do with ur body or mind and there is like subtle ehmmm"education'? just something which makes u actually state ur own view.maybe one can know things in more ways than one.Judging is a bit harsher though isnt't it. its like when one judges they leave no way out, no open gap where anything other than their judgement can happen. thats a bit claustrophobic it feels.

People judge because they want to give opinion or to get involve in the matter, mostly people like that are sided out by the society or are THINKED evil minded, so they want to live with the COOL people (to get in a group) or they want to be popular Yeah you are right but sometimes its not that case that everyone doesn't know about the matter, it can also be someone has misguided them about the matter, so I will first go and speak to the person who's judging to solve the problem.

Yeah, sure. The problem with your hypothesis is that, for the most part, politicians and religious people don't know what they are talking about.

Politicians want us to believe they can 'cure' poverty and unemployment, but they are not and never have been poor, or unemployed long enough to loose everything.

Religious people want to lay the word of god upside your head, not talk sense, many of the lessons the Bible teaches have value and meaning without involving a Deity of any form. why can't they just leave it at that?

If you have some insight to share, then share, otherwise, stop stirring up trouble.

Some people miss out on a lot in life because of fear in everything they don't like the way some looks so they don't taste it as far as religion goes everyone thinks their way is the right way the ways of men only lead to death and wars God says you are either for me or you are against me there is no in between heaven and hell. God is love his opposite hate your either a lover or a hater people need to stop being religious and start having a relationship with father God Love is the greatest
power of all.

I'm always open to education. However have you seen how much knowledge and debate is withheld in order to maintain the christian faith. They don't think dinosaurs even existed even though anyone can go to the local museum and see them. They spend more time trying to say how evolution is untrue than they do proving their bible. Of course My point is expressed best by the fact that the "because the bible says so" excuse is used so often when they don't have anythig else to back up their ideas.

I always say "unless you walk a mile in the shoes of" -- you don't know. Same as being knowledgable about the above subjects you wrote. Some people have some knowledge of things but may not be 100% well read on the subject. Doesn't mean they can't attempt to answer the question.

They shouldn't. The onyl thing we have a right ot judge is if christian brothers or sisters is donig something against Gods will & is still in the congregation.
Read 1cor 5:12-13:
kjv:12: for what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do ye judge them that are within?
13:but them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person."
**********
Reading this we see we should judge our brothers& sisters in christ. this ch speaks of fornication,as of other things against God, but notice it 13 when said those not with God, God will judge,& we shouldn't. hmmm seems upfront to me. Now we can show the scripture in a loving way ,but we are not to judge them, we leave it to God.
