War is NEVER utterly neccessary. There are ALWAYS solutions that are non-violent if you choose to use them. It's often easier to go to war however. Some of the non-violent solutions cost vast amounts of time and money and resources and patience.
In Iraq, our administration decided to invade for a variety of reasons. Some of those reasons have been proven faulty: There were no weapons of mass destruction, Iraq was NOT assisting terrorists against us, etc. This has been proven, even if it's not fully accepted.
Is it 'neccessary'? Neccessary for who? Neccessary for what?
The government found it desireable to go to war, so it did. It's up to the people to decide if it's just or not.

Obviously you are a young American, or possibly Northern European. No one has taken your freedom away. No one has killed all your family and destroyed all the economy in your land where you live. No one has taken away any chance you ever had for any hope at all.
If you were from Iraq, or Israel, or Palestine, or Sudan, or.........you may know we must have war so that people like you can have peace. You really don't know what peace is until you lose it.

It's never necessary to hav war.
War is a result of failed relationship. Anytime, anywhere situations are never too worse to hav a war. If properly handled keeping ego aside any problem between two or more groups can be solved. Guilty should indeed be punished but inocents should be spared.

we need to protect ourselves
Besides, we have saved many lives by getting rid of terrorists and Sadam and ZrQawi.
We have also put up many schools, playgrounds, churches, and aided in keeping the peace- it's not all voilence and war. Do not judge war by what the news tells you-EVER.

Of course war is necessary. We may not agree with the morality of things, but necessity often supercedes humanity.

This question drives us crazy ! We experience the nasty results of it.
Right or wrong there is war.
How can I use it for my peace ?? By fighting against war there is another war added.
