i hate to say it, but you're exactly the kind of person that religious zealots target haha

i understand where you're coming from though...i have no problem with people expressing their religious beliefs or trying to tell me how my views and opinions are wrong because they aren't similar...but seriously, some people need to take control of their own lives and realize they're in control.

my favorite quote by Jean-Paul Sartre, the French existentialist:
"Man is nothing else but that which he makes of himself."

I don't blame you for being upset for people bringing God into every aspect of, well, everything, but people are actually just trying to be positive and want to be encouraging when they tell you that "God will help you", "God will make a way", etc, etc. The truth is, unless people can see God and hear him/her (whichever you prefer) when you call him, like audibly, and not from a small voice in their head... Then they don't really know, they just believe, they just hope.

It's okay for them to do so however, because at the time, that may be all that they have, their hopes and beliefs that God will make a way. Someone reminded me once that life isn't like TV. God won't make a lightning bolt flash from the sky on a clear day to tell me not to do something. That someone told me that God is much more subtle.

God probably has been helping you all of your life, but you just didn't know. Please go to www.immediatecontact.org, read some articles, and you will see what I'm talking about. There's no dogma about God, or Jesus, or any of the same old Jesus died on the cross for you blah blah blah (don't get me wrong, I love Jesus, don't like the priesthood much though)... There are explanations on how you can go about proving for yourself that God is real, and that he has been helping you and will continue, whether you like it or not!

Take care :)

Try www.godsimmediatecontact.com too when you get a chance.

If you asked him, I'm sure he would.

They believe God has helped them just like you believe he never has. What's the difference? They have faith in God and you don't. No need to get upset about it. Think about this though, if they always bring God and Jesus into everything, there must be something good about them.

They're going to return for this question too. You have a vast variety of people on here. Everyone is different. They find all their answers in the bible. That's okay. Not everyone is going to give you a religious answer. Take in what you want and ignore the answers you don't want. This isn't church - it is Yahoo Q/A.

Because we are not always sound and perfect, and we believe in superpower which helps us,so just by citing HIM, it gives each other to understand such a need may occur to anybody also.

God hears your prayers and will answer them when the time is right. Sometimes he does answer them but not in a way you would think.

why don't you just shut up and accept the fact that people think differently than you do and if you ask a question, you're bound to get answers that you don't agree with. grow up, it happens. if you don't like them, ignore them.
