I Live in Pennsylvania and we are incurring major flooding... If the town your Job is in has evacuated and you are forced to take days off work does your boss have to pay you for them or are Employers not responsible in a case of natural disaster?

I worked for the Government doing disaster relief, usually companies are protected, from events beyond their control, as in your case flooding,but you should check with your companies policies. Also if you have vacation, or any other paid holidays you might be able to use those. Good Luck

well i know that after Katrina most employers did what they could for as long as they could for their employees affected, but if it is a small business they pro ably would not be able too, big business can but they are not required to give disaster pay...
