thats a thinker,
i think i have a pretty good medium of the Cinderella story and equality, my fiance and i both work full time, we both clean our apartment (he probably cleans more than i do)
we both take care of our pets (8 of them) and yet he still does the little things, like bring me flowers or fix dinner for me, and i try to remember the little things also, like bring home his favorite movie, or fix him BBQ or Seafood (i hate both)
there can always be a good mix of both, you take care of each other, not just the man takes care of the woman

I'd call it more hypocritical than paradoxical. I've met too many women who want equality when it suits them, and traditionality at other times, and leave it to the man to figure out which is called for at any given moment.

Women want to be equal in things such as government, the work place, salaries etc.
But we are still women and long for that man who will love us like no one else will. There is no reason why we can't have both.
Wanting equailty shouldn't deprive us of wanting love.

No, because as a woman we want to be appreciated and recognized. That is all equality means. As for Cinderella, we all just want a fantasy happily ever after. Who wants to fight for everything we get?

I think so, my fairy tale perfect life would be one in which my husband treats me like an equal, we both work, and we both clean house.
