are you a leo, if so that kind of comes with the territory (only half kidding) . if not, then as the others suggest it indicates, probably insecurity, and need for reassurance. which, of course is understandable in a younger person. anyway, this concern should give you some motivation to research the area and come up with some results and points to ponder. generally speaking, being "needy" and dependent is not a formula for a comfortable existence. check it out. also,empowering yourself through traditional methods like meditation, yoga, exercise, etc. will help to remove at least some of the underlying fear and anxiety that promote the need.

Well, my boyfriend is an attention whore. But, he's a good kind of attention whore. He will be such a dork and make jokes and such just to get attention. It's cute, but sometimes it's rude. Such as, if someone is talking and he feels no one's paying attention to him, he'll interupt them and it's like "Chris! He/She was talking! You can't be the center of attention all the freaking time!". But the reason he's like that, I believe, is because he wasn't really paid attention to while growing up so he just wants the attention. I'm sort of an attention whore, but I don't act like one. Here's a quote that pretty much describes me "I am nothing more than a little girl inside who cries out for attention yet always tries to hide". It's like i so desperately want to be noticed, yet I try to hide because, well I have no idea why. I'm scared more than likely. It's like "Please notice the quiet girl over here who deserately wants to be paid attention to". That's my story.

Are u male.? If so,,that's the first time Ive ever read or heard a man call himself that...are you gay? What makes you call urself an "attention whore?" you dont think very much of urself...you dont even "LOVE" urself..to call urself such an ugly name...QUIT kicking ureself in the butt so much...relax and enjoy life...Believe me..Life is Grand

Because no one gave you attention as a little child and now your making up for it. Plus you need constant reassurance that you are wanted.
