You can also check out amazon.com when you select the book of your choice click on used and you'll see booksa as low as 50c.
e bay has some cheap books as well or you could also look into ebook novels which are usually much cheaper due to the fact that they're being downloaded

Amazon.com is probably your best bet. Type in 'Books' in the Yahoo search engine and all kinds of things will turn up.
