Brave Little Indian can be found on Amazon. There is one used copy available for $58.33.
I also found multiple entries on Amazon for a picture book called The Mighty Santa Fe by William Hooks.

Try alibris.com. They are an on line broker repressenting 8,000 independent booksellers. They boast over 60,000,000 titles available. I've had good luck findiing out of print books at reasonable prices.

Try looking for these books at your local public library. If your library doesn't have them, the staff can ask another library to lend them to you. It is usually free. Give it a try.
Just be sure to return the books to the library when you are done.

check abebooks.com, it is a german bookstore where you can order books that are out of print. i ordered something that was out of print and it came- about 4 months later, but it still came.
