This sounds weird but it works. I have tried it. You need to write over the old writing with dry erase markers and then erase it. It has worked for me when someone used permanant marker on a dry erase board. Tell me if it works.

Mr Clean Magic eraser works well so does using a fresh mark on top of it let it sit a few and the old will come off with the new.

Use a new marker, and draw over the old markings. Let it sit for a second, then erase. Usually works like a charm.

Its simple really. All you have to do is draw over the area with a dry erase marker real good, and then erase. Try it its magic.

I've used Windex many times and it works wonderfully. Rubbing alcohol is also good, but I think Windex works better. There are special whiteboard cleaners, but try the Windex first before buying something like that.

Sounds funny, but dab a rag in some vinegar, and wipe it off. It works, and is cheaper than buying a new board!
