I am so thankful that my parents didn't get hurt, they had a choice of going to New York that day cause they were in Philidelphia on a vacation, the ferry wasn't going, so they decided to stay at their hotel. They woke up. turned on the tv, and saw the first tower fall.

Still a little in shock and such over the event. I was at my school (high school at the time) waiting for a class to start. The class clown of our grade, Sean, walked in saying his dad just called and said something about [I don't remember what he said exactly]. We all told him stop kidding. We then got the announcement over the PA of what had happened. I think at that time both towers were hit. We got to go home early. My dad worked in NYC but nowhere near there. As for people who passed on, a co-worker of my dad's wife was in one of the tower's on one of the floors that was directly hit. Her name is Laura Longing.

I thought 9/11 was a horrible day. I was in my 4th grade homeroom and everyone was leaving. Then, I lived in Pittsburgh for one year. Before, I lived in Mt. Pleasant, about an hour or less from Shanksville- Flight 93. No, none of my loved ones died.
