Could be lack of water, too much heat too.

It can be as simple as not enough water or even too much water. A common problem is watering infrequently. Possibly a lack of complete nutrients so you can try adding a broad spectrum fertilizer.

What is more important is how the deveoping fruit is doing. The stems and leaves are just the delivery system for the tomatoes to mature.

TOO MUCH WATER. I worked at a greenhouse/nursery for 3 years. Put peat moss around base but do not touch plants. Pick off yellow leaves near bottom. Try just watering in evening if it does not rain. Use miracle grow once a week . They should perk up and stop turning yellow unless it rains to much to control water.

You are watering too much. Also you need to fertilize with Miracle Gro at least once every two weeks. Are they getting at least six hours of morning sun? That is a must. Pull dirt up around bottom of plant every two weeks because roots grow out of stem. Buy a book about hints and tips for your garden, there are so many out there. Mine is by Reader's Digest, 1001 Hints & Tips For Your Garden. Hope this helps.

YELLOW LEAVES ARE USUALLY CAUSED FROM OVER WATERING, TOO COOL OF TEMPERATURES, OR NOT ENOUGH SUN. TRY CUTTING BACK ON YOUR WATERING AND CHECK YOUR SOIL BEFORE YOU WATER. PUT YOUR FINGER AN INCH OR TWO IN THE SOIL AND CHECK FOR MOISTURE. IF IT IS STILL DAMP, DON'T WATER. TOO MUCH WATER CAN KILL A PLANT JUST THE SAME AS NOT ENOUGH WATER. IF THE PLANTS ARE NOT GETTING SUN FOR AT LEAST HALF OF THE DAY, YOU NEED TO MOVE THEM. SUN IS WHAT HELPS THEM CONVERT NUTRIENTS.

This could be caused by a disease in the plant. You may want to go to Home Depot and buy a plant disease killer.
