im from usa, lets sayi get married from someone in aother country....i know theres a process for her to get her visa, but when she comes to USA legally, when can she start working full time?

i dont know to much of how the whole process works, but how long will it take to get a green card/social?

Let's say, if you were to marry someone to bring them into the country, you had better be prepared to live as man and wife for 7 years or Both of you could risk severe fines, not just the person you bring in but yourself as well. Theoretically of course.

Depending on where your fiance is from, it can be quick and it can be protracted ... I know a fellow who married a Swedish girl ... they got married in February, sent in her papers in April ... got the interview in July, and she got the green card and her SSN also in July ... all in all 3.5 months ... with that green card she can work anywhere, no restrictions ....
