Answer that question and you will be the great "Knowitall". I can offer some reasons I have been exposed to. "He took action after 9/11". "Al Gore was a worse choice". "My Pastor told me he was God's choice".
The problem is that our political system of two parties does not work anymore. We have a "Frick" and "Frack" form of Government and nothing important can get done. We need a new strong third and fourth political Parties that represent the real will of the people and are funded by something besides special interest bribe money. History has shown that Countries grow to a certain point and then implode. Greece, Rome, Spain, England all got too extended and had to shrink back to a manageable size. The new world order will be one of trading commonwealths like Europe's common market and the future American, Canadian, Mexican market. George will be forgotten in the history books, much like his father.

For your information, I have a big pitcher of Kool Aid in my refrigerator right now! It's for my grandchildren. No, I am not a Kool Aid drinker.
At first, I wasn't going to answer your question. I took a look at it and blew it off as another example of the anti-Bush babel you can find here every day. But it nagged at me, so I went back and took another look. There are enough people in your amen corner so I'll try answering your question and the assertions you use to back it up.
You start with a "record deficit" as if that is the most important thing you have "lost". It's odd that Liberals hardly ever complain about the budget or a budget deficit when the spending is for their social programs.
Point: "...we have also lost a few airliners.."?? How about the 246 innocent men, women and children who died aboard those four aircraft?
Point: "..two world trade centers..". Were the buildings the only things of value?? No! How about the 2,749 who died there? Any thought for them?
Point: "..a piece of the pentagon..". 125 killed there. Do you remember them?
Point: "..over two thousand troops..". The number is 2,525 total deaths to date not counting the 227 coalition forces who have also been killed. Remember them, too. We can debate the legality and morality of the war some other time.
Point: "...and the city of new orleans." Another subject for a larger debate. I know you don't blame Pres. Bush for the hurricanes unless you blame him for global warming, too. I will say that the initial reaction to hurricane Katrina was a cluster **** at all levels.
Please excuse me now. I have to go pour some Kool Aid for the kids. Want some?

Oh yeah, all that's his fault. Shut up and quit bashing your president. He is your president whether you like it or not and you should show him respect. Disasters will happen no matter who is president.
Of course you can have an opinion, I'm not saying you can't. But what good does it do for you to openly bash him for things that are out of his control. My point is, those disasters would have happend regardless of who is president, and money would have to be spent because of the disasters, so the budget would go into deficit no matter what. Would you rather him not done anything because he didn't want to spend the money? That is the problem with democrats, they all like to place blame and point fingers. How are you helping the problems? You're not because you would rather talk about how bad of a job Bush is doing than work together to get something done.

sure u have but it is not only his fault the following lines may be rude but they are true so please forgive me for anything wrong:
i am an india and i know how much trouble terrorists and natural disaaters can cause nelieve me. the budget problem is faced by every country sometime or another so u can't just blame bush. bush is responsible for all this but he is not the only cruptil. then the two WTCs and the Pentagon which terrorists ahve destroyed u can't just blame bush for for the past three decades we have been crying about the problem of terrorists. but did anyone listen no. and i agree that it was wrong the way america reacted ok it was bushs fault that he just waged a war against afghanistan and iraq. but tell me this if u had listened to our plight before wouldn't this had been avoided?? i am not saying that bush is good or the best. he has made mistakes but he steered ur country through very hard times. WTC attack was the second attack after perl harbour on ur own country and it must have shook u but it was the result of ur ignorance to our plight the plight of the third world countries before. many presidents before also didn't believe us and the result is before u.
NO OFEENCE but if i over said anything please forgive me but all i said was the truth

This is such a predicament right? I believe that everything that is happening these days is not an accident. Nope! It is all part of the agenda. Bush may "look" stupid but he's a smart sommabitch! Don't you think he knows what the hell he is doing, certainly with oil. Daddy started all of that...not in the 90's but in the CIA when he helped killed JFK. I will not be surprised about future disaster events, soon AMERICA will fall like ROME... the world is getting degraded and no one gives a crap. So we all deserve this life. Don't complain...if you want to change DO SOMETHING! -- At this time I believe bush is the worst president in the history of the US

Consider what you lost under Clinton: he lost us the respect of the entire world. Him and his ***** wife.
There was no budget surplus with the fools Clinton and Gore. Even the lap dog Al Gore admitted this was true. All the liars did was add the social security fund into to general fund to come up with a so called surplus. It was put back into the SS fund and a deficit they created ws there. Along with the recession they created. And the lap dog also admitted to this.

You of direction are only as delusional as Dubya. Rights will be trampled upon in insidious options which aren't any more continually outwardly obtrusive, yet inwardly corrode the textile of freedom. The horrendous Patriot Act set in action a pathway for the federal authorities to enhance its surveillance of U.S. voters, without their information or consent. that's the starting up of massive Brother. only because the authorities says they're using the assistance for a reported objective does no longer mean it really is real. or maybe if if the assistance accrued isn't used now for some insidious objective, that does no longer mean it gained't or won't be able to be used that way in the destiny. You of direction have plenty to study about the real operations of authorities, and fantastically about the traitor named George W. Bush.

It seems you put your facts out of order. Your references to 9/11 should have come first, and if you believe that Bush had anything to do with that, I have little faith in your comprehension of life. Let's see, what's next, ah Katrina... I had no idea Bush is not really the man I thought he was, he is in fact no other than Mother Nature. Thank you for exposing this flagrant abuse of trust. How dear him destroy one of his own cities. Which next, which next... eh, let's put them together and call them the price of war. War is hell, and it is not cheap. I firmly believe that this war has cost us less than it would have if we weren't fighting it. Another terrorist attack would have happened by now, and I don't know about you, but 2,500 soldiers over the course of three years in the cause of freedom, compared with 3,000 people in one day in the cause of hatred sounds like a good trade off.
I never said that terrorism was one of the reasons we went to Iraq. I think we went to Iraq, not because of WMD's or oil, but because the U.N. was too P*ssy to enforce any of its resolutions. If you don't believe that their are foreign Arab terrorists in Iraq now, then you are sadly mistaken.
