our country hasn't changed any morels or values...they have "lost" them..and as long as they are lost our generation and the ones to follow will only continue to see the side effects...children killing parents, parents killing children, child pron, disrespect, and the list goes on.....in todays sociaty either everything is considered "ok"..and if not then they label it with a diease and then it's still "ok"......

Morals and values change, yes, but the earlier poster (becca) was right -- it's not a matter of changing values, it's a matter of sacrificing them.
The US has stopped respecting laws, stopped being tolerant of differences, stopped caring that we are hypocritical. Apathy and fundamentalism have become the new spectrum, where people either don't care (or don't show it), or they are so fanatic that they froth at the mouth when someone disagrees.
BTW, Sunday was only a day for church for some of the religions. And just because those were the only ones favorable shown on TV, doesn't make it reality.
What this country needs is a good time-out. It needs to sit down, shut up, and take a good long look at what it has been doing. Then say it's sorry and start playing nice.
We claim to be a nation of laws, but our government breaks them or ignores them whenever it sees fit. We claim to be the land of the free, but there is so much regulation and intolerance that anyone who doesn't lock-step with the party line is verbally (sometimes physically) threatened. We claim to be the Great Melting Pot, but our solution to millions of people who didn't fill out the paperwork required to legally enter isn't fixing the paperwork and making them pay their back taxes, it's threatening anyone who feeds them with jail time.
What happened? People stopped caring about each other. They stopped believing that problems could be solved, and they stopped trying to solve problems without fighting about them. The vast majority descended into either apathy or fanaticism, and neither of those are healthy, individually or for the country.
The question is, what do we do now?

Customs, culture and moral climate are in a constant flux. So we would expect changes to continue, some for the better perhaps some not so good. Overall, we as a country are becoming much more aware of people in need and our responsibility to share what we have with others. When there is a problem, look at how people will come together to help when they can. There are always horror stories. But overall, we are getting better and better all the time. It is just with communication improvements and media hype we hear about the negatives so much.

it type of feels to worsen a week. I study distinct information elements and may no longer believe what passes for guidelines in this usa any extra or that all people, even a democrat can say the monetary device is recuperating and keep a immediately face. Joe Biden stated that each of the heavy lifting is done and they at the instantaneous are in campaign mode. this skill the bashing, smearing and craziness of pre-election classified ads and surprises cases 1000 as not in any respect earlier considered or heard. i'm no longer searching ahead to the destiny like I used to.

I do think it's changed some over the years but the thing that makes today's morals and value decline more noticable is that poor character and behavior is much more tolerated than it was years ago.
