My car broke down and i was stock in the rain for 2 hours on my cell trying to get in touch with AAA and then i took my phone to verizon and told them as usual they said sorry cant help water damage but if i plug my phone into a charger it works great just fine! Is it the battery????

It's possible that it's the battery. Bring it back to Verizon and ask them to put a spare battery in it just as a test. If it comes back to life, then buy a new battery. If it doesn't, then there may be a short or a contact issue somewhere. Sorry!

If it works on the charger, it should be OK. The battery might even live, if you let it dry out for a few days.

I ran my phone through the washer last year. I let the phone dry out for a while, and it worked fine after that.

Although, luckily for me, my contract was almost up so I got a new one anyway :-)

well damn, if you have insurance on your phone, you hsould beable to get the water damage thing fixed....but it could be any wires int here that are loose, or just damaged. try to get a new battery maybe that would work. good luck.....

get a new battery and see if that works if not you may have to get another phone

dismantle your phone and dry it with the help of the dryer and assemble again...u would find it working
