My Motorla phone recharges in an hour when in a vehicle but requires 3-4 hours on the home charger.

Well battery life has only a maximum amount of chargings.If u charge the phone on the car charger than its not charging to the full amount as the home charger.The voltage in the car isn't as strong as the voltage in the home meaning that u have to charge the phone more frequently.

Yes. best way to keep your battery around for a longtime is let it drain all the way down before recharging. when you have like 1 bar of energy left, then charge it. don't keep charging it when the battery is full or near full.

Yes, it is better to charge on the home charger.
