No.... the reason people have something against goths, or punk-ish people is not exactly all about how they dress. I am just going by the people in my school..... they don't exactly try to be nice or anything. MOST of them treat you like dirt when you have to work with them or you try to talk to them. Now.... that is not all true because I have a friend that is kinda punk-goth and she is totally cool and sweet. It really depends on what the person under the clothes is like. Also, If you love black or whatever you like about the punk-goth look, don't take it to the max. Play it down a little bit. You know, be a mild goth-punkish person, so you don't come off so harsh! =)

No, everyone has their own style. It is better to be you than try to be someone else. So, dress how you want!!! It's HOT to be your self, plus punk or gothic can be sexy if you do it right!!! GO FOR IT!

Obviously there is nothing wrong, because it is your style, and you shouldn't dress up in a way to please other people than yourself. That will give you lack of confidence, and that wouldn't make you unique as a person.
But, there are some places you can't dress goth or punk, because of certain dress codes. But you can always improvise.

There is nothing wrong with dressing this way, however the "dressers" of course need to be prepared to get some stares and maybe comments... on another level, the "emo" kids with their self mutilation...that is wrong and dangerous.

There is nothing wrong with it, but don't be surprised if you get some strange looks from other people. Unfortunately, not all people are willing to accept something that is different.

NO NOT ONE BIT!!! I THINK DRESSING GOTHIC AND/OR PUNKISH IS KIND OF COOL. IN FACT BEFORE I HAD MY KIDS I USED TO DRESS GOTHIC BUT I TONED IT DOWN ONCE I BECAME A MOTHER.

Not if it is an expression of who you are and how you feel at this time in your life. Our appearance often reflects who we are on the inside. Don't do it becaue it's popular in your area but because it says "Hey this is me. Take it or leave it."

No, we live in a country where we are free to express ourselves. That personally isn't my style, but that's what makes us different and I enjoy to see it as a great reminder!
