that US Intel. warned Goerge DubYa and his staff that no credible evidence supported any WMD findings, at that time! Yet he, and all of the members of his staff, specifically mentioned WMD;s in Iraq, using terms like "weapons of mass death, mushroom clouds, etc." seemingly to frighten people to allow him to invade Iraq anyway!
Knowing that this war had been planned for almost a decade, as declassified documents clearly pointed out, how do you feel about his leadership, or lack thereof, and how do his supporters justify his lies to the American people?

Frontline did a fabulous piece on the "Dark Side" of Dick Cheney last week and it fully supports what you are saying. This "war" had been on the minds of the current regime for a long, long time.

Sorry, but the History Channel isn't exactly the most reliable place I've seen. I was watching a program on the History Channel about Jimmy Carter and the Iranian hostage situation and the History Channel conveniently left out the fact that the hostages were released after Reagan promised to pretty much obliterate them if they didn't oblige. Sure, they told the truth about what happened, but by omitting parts of the truth they portrayed an inaccurate picture of what really happened.

Long story short: I don't completely trust the History Channel!

Almost a decade, so since this 2006 and a decade is 10 years, if we subtract that we get...1996. Who was president then? Oh yeah, Bill Clinton. Now, if Bush, Cheney, Rummy, and the rest of the boys and girls at Conspiracy Central, got together in 1999 and said, "Hey, we're gonna rig two elections, start war, bomb the WTC and the Pentagon, and we're gonna get oil from a country that produces less than Brazil!" then that's scary. Does the tinfoil make your hair look funny when you sleep in it?

It wasn't a wise move but however we're already well into this conflict so we only have to finish what was started.

And to one of those posters, this doesn't back nothing for your oil theory. I mean there's just sooooooooooooooo much oil here now that we took over Iraqi oil fields that i don't know what i'm gonna do with it all!!! The fact that our prices are higher now than before the war doesn't support your little theory that we went after their oil. Continue with your stupid suspicions

I agree! This war was planned for a long time, prior to 9/11!
This may be even more evidence that 9/11 was an inside job!

Outraged that those of us that question the reasons for war are called "unpatriotic" and "troop-haters." Watch...you will be called a traitor and a terrorist just for posting this question.
