One big difference is that most of the people of Iraq are wanting to help rebuild. A HUGE portion of the people that formerly lived in New Orleans are now being supported by other states and have no interest in returning to help build New Orleans. It is a true shame because New Orleans deserves to be returned to the beauty that it once was.

Let the Iraqies rebuild their own country, We already paid for Germany and still paying for Japan. Thats why we have no money in this Country, If the Country Start the war they should pay for their own damages, not us. About New Orleans, rebuild the local Land marks and protect that area. Anything else flaten those areas out, build new on higher ground.

Rebuilding Iraq is simpler because government contractors are getting money to rebuild it. The federal government is not giving a lot of federal money to rebuild New Orleans. That is a state problem, not a federal one.
