Pretty much all of the best players in the World Cup this year already have huge contracts. Perhaps some of the players on the "surprise" teams (Ghana) that advanced out of group play may get some attention but all the players really making waves this year are already the superstars of the sport.
If the USA had had a better showing some of our up and coming players like Eddie Johnson and Brian Ching may have made an impression but that seems highly unlikely now.

Robin Van Persie. Although he already plays for Arsenal after this world cup he will sign a bigger contract and start for an EPL team and not come off the bench.

I think the newcomer David Beckham... he's a nobody before the world cup, but now, I even hear he's dating Cher's best-friend's cousin.

Fernando Torres. He's being courted by both Chelsea and Manchester United.
That'll be a bidding war methinks.
