One of my friends is using a mobile device, and they text messaged my computer using the Yahoo! Instant Messenger on their phone. I didn't respond. Will I get charged for them sending messages to my computer using a mobile device, like a cell phone?

Should not be a charge to send or receive if using your computer.

The cell phone usually charges to send and receive.

Mine cell was free to receive until this year and now it cost both ways.

unsolicited mail. All of those messages for the length of each IM and each community website (myspace, facebook) and each e-mail are all unsolicited mail. they're trash that stupid human beings deliver out to scare human beings. overlook about it. If any of the amenities you employ became going to commence charging you there will be an professional statement on their domicile web page and also you'll likely listen it on CNN first. no less than you'll get an e-mail FROM THEM from their perfect e-mail deal with conserving what they're doing, why, and the position you could pass once you've questions. it could be stupid for Yahoo to commence charging for messenger, that'd reduce their consumer base by a minimum of ninety% or extra, and this is those consumers clicking on classified ads that makes Yahoo money.
