I have been somewhat surprised by all the people that say their labor feels like cramps. Mine never did. It was a dull ache, not a cramping feeling.

I had 3 children and all consisted of back labor....ouch...no cramping....but a word to the wise being induced really does hurt a heck of a lot worse than doing it naturally.

My sister didn't have a whole lot of pain with either of her kids. We barely got her to the hospital in time for them to deliver her first baby. Of course...once hard labor started, it only lasted a half hour. Some people are lucky.

my labour with the twins was just twinges right up until giving birth. I have heard of some women cough and it's out! I don't think it's as rare as people think, just untalked about.
