Right now I am hearing Thunder and I was woundering if any body likes thunder and lighting storms. Sometimes I do depending on where I am and what my mood is.

I don't like them when I am trying to go to sleep and sometimes when nobody is around me. I like rain storms and the rain always smells good where i live compared to a couple of other places like Florida.

As long as they are not doing any damage. I think it is very cool to watch lightening. It always amazes me at the way it goes through the sky. I could sit for hours watching a lightening storm.

I do like storms as long as they are not dangerous. When my husband and I first started dating we could see that there was a storm in the distance so we chased it. It ended up being a bad storm, a couple of tornado's touched down close to us, we didn't get hurt but we did get stuck on an old country road where trees had fallen and blocked any exit from the road. It was exciting, but I don't see doing it again anytime soon.

I am in Arkansas, thunderstorms here usually have a lot of striking lightning, it seems sometimes that all the lightning is striking somethiing as long as it is not close to me personally it is cool to watch.

I grew up in Northern California and was forced to move to West Texas (lived there nine years). The only thing I liked there was the storms. Lightening and thunder can be so beautiful and wondrous. Now that I am back in Cali, I kind of miss those awesome thunderstorms. I guess I can still visit in the summer time though.

I like them both...I also think they are very romantic when you are at home. You and your spouse can sit really close together with a cup of coffee or whatever and just listen to the storm together with the flashes of light from the lightning in the background. I also love sitting on the porch listening to the thunder and watching the lightning...it's really nice. Wish it was like that right now here in California.

I love thunder storms. I love the sound of thunder and like to watch it lightning especially at night. It lights up the whole sky it is so neat.

Remember that cheesy movie "Ice Pirates" I thought it was so incredibly sexy when they did it with the thunderstorm in the background!
I also get the best sleep ever when it is raining and thundering.

nothing beats getting caught out in the middle of a hot night in a thunderstorm, the rain cools you down and you can dance & puddle jump. the lighting dancing its pretty colors across the sky, and the thunder makings its presence known shaking you down to the earth its wonderful :)

i love thunderstorms. i grew up in florida and oregon and the only thing i miss from florida was the thunder, lightning and rain.

Love um! soothing sounds of nature. Id say thunder and lightning have got to be the coolest of them all.
