Hi please help me i am fed up with my downloading speed i am using a 128kpbs internet i have a less downloading speed upto 7kbps pls tell me how to increase my downloading speed or transfer rate?

u must use a good dowload manager that can use your unusable bandwith
u can download Internet Download Accelerator software
u can search in google.com and download it
it would use better file sources and help u to manage your downloads better
also " Internet download Manager "
but u can not never use all 128 kpbs bandwidth

Just because you have a 128kpbs connection, doesn't mean you'll achieve that speed in downloading. In fact, I'm sure it'll be pretty much impossible. The sort of speeds you mention seem OK. If you want to increase your download speed, just upgrade to Broadband... it's cheap enough these days. I wouldn't really bother with any software that says it'll help with download speeds either.

Your download speed is limited by the SLOWEST leg of your connection - which is going to be out on the internet somewhere. Download from a server that you have a faster connection to. Most files are available on more than one server.

The only real solution is to get DSL or Cable. You have poor phone lines if you get that slow a transfer rate.

First what ISP ur on what is the mode of connecting to the net as n dialup, cable , dsl.
Wht u need is band width go for DSL or cable. Your problem wil be solved .

Use downloading softwares like Downlaod manager.They really help you to increase your download spead as they break the files into pieces and then download it

Add ram to your computer. I did it and it's a lot faster now. Either that or get cable. It's a lot faster.

you need to get cable, although DSL is somewhat faster cable blows any other connection away.
