The person who said the Warriors don't have a specific need are obviously giving Adonal Foyle too much credit at center. Troy Murphy is on the trade block and isn't a center anyway (shoots too many jumpers), Ike Diogu isn't tall enough to be a legitimate center and Biedrins is too thin.

They really could go a number of ways. Patrick O'Bryant seems like a good fit, but he's a bit raw. Saer Sene could sneak up there, too. He's REALLY raw, but he's 6-11 with a 7-8 wingspan. Ideally, I'd like to see them bag the idea of drafting another center project in favor of an athletic wing. Mike Dunleavy's really not consistent enough to be the regular starter at three, and Rodney Carney or Ronnie Brewer might go well with the athletic backcourt of Davis and Richardson.

The Warriors don't have a specific need but could use an upgrade at every position except 2-guard. Go big and draft Patrick O'Bryant, the 20-year-old center from Bradley who may have set the record for most times described as "mildly intriguing" over the past six weeks.

Who was the last big man to be drafted and then go on to be dominant in the west. I would have to go with Elton brand out of Duke. Why not pick up Shelden Williams, the center out of Duke. He is the inside presence needed to complement Richardson and Davis. O'Bryant may have more upside, but Shelden Williams is ready to play in the NBA now.

Golden State Warriors -- Shelden Williams,

Shelden Williams. And while we hesitate to label him a future All-Star, guys with Williams' tenacity, strength and agility have proven in recent years that said combination can overcome a few inches. Given that he'll encounter his physical equals on a nightly basis in the NBA, Williams will need to develop a little deceptiveness in his offensive game that currently consists of lowering his shoulder and bulldozing toward the bucket. Count on Williams becoming a rock-solid Dale Davis-type for the next dozen years

Knwoing GSW, we're going to pickup another guard. Don't know much about O'Bryant, but he sounds like the 'answer' for now. I love Baron, but I think we should package him for something; we get Randy Foye, find some money and get Stojakavic, and have one of the best backcourts in the NBA w/ JRICH, foye (not FOYLE), and Stojo.

I think they take Patrick O'Bryant, the center from Bradley. He's 7foot and can shoot from the outside. They have to take a big man because they have no idside prescense.

I think it will all just depend on if they decide to deal Troy Murphy or not. That's the rumor swirling that was swirling this morning.

Brewer if they are looking to unload Dunleavy
