I know this probably isn't the best place to do a job search but it's worth a try. I am looking for a job working in Houston Texas on a stable with horses. I have a resume. If you or anyone you know is looking for barn help please respond.

LostArab, I just moved to Houston recently, so no I don't know anyone. And in general though this isn't the best place to look for employment, I'm getting my self out there, this is a great way to alert people I'm available and if they themselves are looking for help, though myaybe not here on Yahoo! They may respond. Or if anyone know's someone else, it's all the same.

Try the equestrian center in Katy..... take I-10W to Mason rd, go south (left). Go past Highland Knolls and you will pass a neighborhood and some enormous apts.... it is a big green and white complex on the left.... big sign out front.... am sure they are hiring people.

I would suggest contacting the race tracks. You may start out by just walking horses after a race, but I knew a jockey that started that way.
You might also contact 4H.

If you have 11 years experance you would not need to ask here brecouse you should know anuff people to find a job.
