US citizen, wants to Move and Live in UK. May need work Visa, Flat and Job.

Before you think about moving you will need to ascertain if you are even eligible to work in the UK. If you are successful in finding a sponsor you will need to have qualifications / work experience in order to apply for a work permit.

If you are highly skilled you may be eligible for a Highly Skilled Migrant Program visa.

Save lots of money so you can afford to get there, get a flat, buy food and all that other necessary stuff while you look for a job once you get there. If you can find a job, that is.

You should also check into getting necessary work permits or green cards or whatever equivalent England has for foreigers to work there.
