If she is TRULY a friend, you can tell her honestly. Maybe tell her you are flattered that she admires you/your life, but you became friends with her for the person she is, not because she does a hell of a job being just like you. Maybe you will both get a giggle out of that and she will get the point. Good luck!

She's your long-term friend so first of all remember that and respect it. Secondly, you simply need to find a way to point out that this behaviour is not acceptable and that she needs to modify her behaviour - start by taking her out shopping, and suggesting some things you think 'would look good on her but never on you', that kind of thing, encourage her to find her own style. Then ask her Her opinion on things - then say that you don't quite agree, but you think her view is awesome, stuff like that - say you love it that you guys have differences but are so close - try and get her to see that being an individual is what having friends is all about, and go from there.

You just call her out straight up and tell her that you are incredibly flattered and that you love her like a sister, but that it bothers you when she does everything like you. Explain to her that she is important and special for who SHE is and that she doesn't need to be like you to be cool. Say it really kindly and like you care about her more than anyone else in the world and you wont hurt her at all! Good luck!

I would say that for your friend she has a low self esteem problems and is looking for someone to become so she don't have to deal with whatever going own with her own life.
Please just be honest with her and tell her how you feel and if she is a real friend she will understand. don't let her be codependent on you. Just tell her you are her friend but don't dress or copy you anymore.

Be flattered, instead of angered, role models take on followers that really mean no harm ,and in turn helps to develop the persons self-esteem. So smile with her, and hug her and help her to grow and in doing so you will grow with love, compassion, and understanding

Start acting, dressing, and talking like a fool. Then laugh when she mimics you. She will get the picture.

Tell her to be her own person.
You'd still be her friend. as long as she doesn't turn into someone you don't like.
