Actually I sincerely doubt the Republicans will lose control of either the Senate or the House. America is a little worked up that you guys on the left want to give amnesty to 12 million people who broke our laws. They don't care for gay marriage, and would prefer not too see our flag burned....all causes of the left that will come back and bite them in the rear end come November....why else do you think the Republicans are bringing that stuff up now? Just to put a few libs on the record for the 30 second commercials to hammer in October.

Unless the Democrats come up with a way to keep Iraq the main issue, the Republicans are going to swamp the public with family values, gun control, abortions... They did it in 2004 when they were not popular, and they won. It seems to me, the Democrats need to do everything that they can to keep the war in the forefront. Everyone knows that they aren't united on anything else.
By the way, why do you always capitalize Neocons?

They must be. I hear Pfizer's sales on Viagra is sky-rocketing. (Those old Neocons taking the little Blue pill for angina finally realized the perky little side effect, but too bad even popping handfuls of it doesn't seem to help them with all that election anxiety). I feel sorry for those poor, poor Neocon women who have to invest the Miserly allowances their Neocon men give them on Pocket Rockets.

No, in fact I'm actively encouraging and reminding Republicans that it's important they go vote or suffer the consequences.

Doesn't matter who wins the mids... it's McCain in 2008! Hillary's chances are sagging more than her jowls.
