Alright, my first question was, "Am I able to display Hindi text on a webpage?" And I found out that I was using unicode.

Now, my question is:
How do I insert the Unicode into HTML? As far as I know, you can't simply type the unicode in a simple HTML Editor. Do I need some type of program?

I am using Windows XP English. But I can view hindi unicode on other webpages, so I'm pretty sure that all the language support I need is installed already.

Are you using a MAC, or are you using a BSD or Linux or UNIX distribution, or are you using Windows?

What language is your operating system localized for? If not Hindi, then you may need to download and install Hindi support, perhaps a full Unicode font or at least a font containing the Hindi subset of Unicode, and a Hindi input editor. With those I think even notepad on recent enough Windows - English versions can be used. Save using the utf8 text format, specify the charset in your HTML:

and try to tell the server to use that charset when serving the pages.
