Hamster disposition is not affected by the color of their fur, unfortunately. Any hamster has just as good a chance of becoming a biter as the next one.
Stepping back a bit, we have to understand why the hamster bites in the first place. Hamsters are rodenty animals with 360' vision to ensure lack of predation. We, on the other hand, have about 145' vision, which is the same as most hamster predators (foxes, cats, owls, etc.) So, the hamster has developed a defensive lifestyle to protect itself (biting, squealing, turning it's stomach up at us.)
They are also rudimentary creatures, too. They are very territorial and tend to defend their homes quite readily.
It is possible that once upon a time, there was the smell of food on your hand. Or your hand came at him at the wrong time. Or it entered a part of his cage that he was readily wanting to defend. Since they are associative, he remembers your hand possibly as a threat more than a happy place. Or, he might associate it with food and want to eat it every time it comes near him.
Try washing your hands before you pick him up, then wiping your hands in his shavings (away from his food.) That way, he'll only smell himself on your hands and be more readily wanting to hang out there.
Or, try to open up as much of the cage first before you pick him up and ensure that he's not in a closed in area that he can defend. Let him explore out of the cage first before you pick him up so that he's in a neutral "non-territory" zone. That way, he'll have nothing to defend against a barraging hand.
Also, hamsters are like people...they have a hundred different personalities. This one might just enjoy the biting more than others. Please, if this is so, still love him regardless! :D Each hammie is special.

my gerbil and hamster chew the bars each of the time and none of them are growing free... be certain you're cleansing their cage a week because each from time to time they chew the bars even as they want a sparkling cage... im no longer certain why, yet i comprehend my gerbil does that! If that would not paintings, attempt to coach you hamster that chewing on the bars isn't good! even as they bite on the bars, make a noisy noise so that they end, and everytime they do it, keep making a noisy noise, each from time to time this works! also you would possibly want to attempt to purchase a diverse bite toy, each puppy would not like various bite toy!! desire this permits, and if the bars are metallic, they're "hamster information"

You cannot make a hamster stop biting because if they are doing it now they will continue to do it no matter what you do

you can't...it is in there nature to be afraid and for that reason they bite..now if it is doing it when you are trying to pick him up...then either don't pick him up or wear a pair of thick gloves when you handle him and maybe after awhile of doing this and being very gentle he won't be quite so afraid and will quit...
