I clicked on to it and there were dirty pictures of my Mother and other guys doing dirty sexual things. My friend was right there and if freaked out. I cant get those images out of my head and my friend probably thinks my mom is a slut. Like my mom is single but is this normal? My friend just like stood there in awe... i just walked to my room and shut the door and dident come out all night... should i approach my mom and ask her about this.. and what should I do about my friend? Your Mother is an adult. She likes to do adult things. If you feel the need to talk to her about it, then by all means go talk to her. But, she will probably point out that she is an adult and you are not her keeper.

Did you ask her before logging into her account? If you didn't, then be prepared for her to point out that she has a right to privacy. Even if she did say you could use it for sending things, what right did you have to snoop? I think you got what you deserve. The e-mail wasn't sent to you and you had no right to open it.
She is a Mom, but she is also a woman.
I think you are just going to have to deal with it.

In the first inst. it was a private email to your mum and you had no right to look at it. Is your mum expected to live like a nun until you decide to leave home? She has feelings just the same as you, the only differnece being she is an adult in an adult relationship and you, bye you question, are very much the child. I am not surprised that you cannot look your mother in the eye, you should be ashamed of yourself. How would you feel if she read your diary, looked at you private letters/emails? Would you then expext her to apologise or you? Think about it and grow up for gods sahe.

tough

Once I came across an email about things my mom did and I never thought of her the same.

I don't forget it, but I don't let on that I know. I think this is the best way, because I don't want her to feel uncomfortable. Also it would change our relationship a lot and I just rather keep it a secret. You should do the same.

As far as your friend just say I am sorry you had to see that.

Yes, do you know how many Moms like this are out there? It's just that there might be no pictures or someone who accidentally finds them. So, calm down - there're lots of normal women like this.

Others tell you to go talk to your Mom... But what will you say?! And can you imagine how embarassing it will be for her? Especially, it's not her who got the pictures - someone else sent those to her. It's not her fault.

I understand what a shock this must be for you, but I would just go on and forget it - don't try to, it will just fade away with time.

Such things happen and it's not the end of life: neither of yours, nor your Mom's.

Well your friend probably just lost complete respect when it comes to you're mom. I don't know I think you should confront her about it and let her know that your really dissapointed in her.
Mothers should keep there relationships private and not be so irresponsible as to let people take pics of her. You're mom needs to mature and realize she has children who look up to her. Plus if you tell her you can hold it over her head forever, cause nothing you do will be worse than what she did. She'll never be able to punish you

Wow, Good Luck. That's a tough one. Moms are human, they like to have fun and they can make mistakes.

A picture is just a moment in time. You don't know what happened before or after the picture. It could have been staged just to be funny, or .......

Sorry I don't have an easy answer for you.

Your mom is very normal to want that kind of life. You should of never of clicked on her email. I think she needs to teach you some respect of privacy and then change her password. As for your friend, you'll need to talk to him/her and find out if it is just your reaction that is causing the driff in your relationship with your friend.

Every one has the wright to do his/her own life; your mom is just a humanbeing, like you, dont be afraid to talk to her about it, give your opinion; you might like it too, is part of life; some people think it is wrong, others no, it is a matter of how you feel about it, approve or disapprove.
There is to many people that are hypocrites, and critique others for what they do, but in the inside thenselves they die to do it.

I think you should definately say something to her. You innocently came up your moms pictures. Thats not that abnormal but she shouldnt be letting you find that kind of stuff. She could getin alot of trouble if the cops were tofind out about that.

You should not have clicked the message.
I was not addressed to you.
You could have done your message and sent your attachment without clicking SOMEBODY ELSES e mails!!
Hope you learned your lesson!
Forget about it.
Do not CONFRONT Mom.
It could just make matters worse.
