Your local Salvation Army would probably come pick it up. The proceeds from the sale fund their rehabilitation centers, which allow people to enter the six-twelve month recover program to overcome their alcohol/drug problems at no cost.

Depending on your location, I'd check with areas hit so bad by the hurricane. The Mississippi area etc. I know of a church where I'm from here in Tennessee who donated a piano to a church in Mississippi.

If your location isn't good, then check with your area churches or your schools. The music department at our high school loves getting donated instruments.

If all else fails, just put an ad in the paper. :)

Check with a school. Music programs in public schools are floundering due to lack of funding and proper instruments.

How about a local school or an after-school program. Maybe Boys & Girls Club. You could even think about giving it to a local nursing home... Or me! But I really don't have room for one :)
