you should wear what makes you comphy. The long tees are in "style" and so are capris. They both are very cute. Dont worry too much about making a good impression, because by time your a senior, it all wont matter. But if you feel good about yourself then you will have more confidence. Good luck on the first day of school!

Seriously, part of your reputation is what you wear. Don't believe me? A person with suit and tie is said to be dressed for success. A person dressed in ripped jeans and Metallica shirt is viewed one way and one dressed wearing a sports uniform viewed another way. You can think of many other examples, I'm sure. Bottom line is you should dress according to how you want people to view you. Dress according to your own taste not by how your peers dictate how you should dress. Lastly, fads come and go; you may dress in the latest fad but, why? Next week, there will be a new one. Who wants to keep worrying about such things? Just have fun in your 8th grade year and beyond. Appearance isn't everything though it says a lot about who you are.

Definitely check the weather. I'll never forget my first day in 7th grade (a really long time ago....) I had this long-sleeved dress and it was about 90 degrees that day, unusual for where I live, but it can happen. I still remember how hot I was that whole day, but I had been determined to wear that dress on the 1st day of school. Maybe you could have two outfits planned, one for warm weather and one for if it's cooler, and then you can decide at the last minute, depending on the weather forecast.

How about a traditional saudi arabian outfit. You know the ones that cover up your whole body, including your hair, the only thing thats seen is ur face. THAT WILL MAKE AN IMPRESSION

Jeans and a t-shirt. Don't worry about what you wear. If you want to make an impression, just be yourself and wear what you normally would, nothin' fancy.

Ahh, the days of figuring out what to wear on the first day... I guess it will depend on the weather and where you live, but I always opted for a nice skirt and shirt...

wear nothing!!! that's d best.
it completely depends on wat u want.
if u'r boring type wear watever.
if u want boyz around wear a tight -t (belly visibleif u r slim) and a jeans. they should be attractive. most imp. is that u carry it off properly. remember attitude matters more than anything else and also d first impression is supposed to b d last.

I think you should wear something that looks good and not hoey cause the first day is really good to wear something tight or at least a little tight.

you should wear something that reflects who you are. DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF YOU!!!! You're life will not come to an end if you're not the most popular person in school. Be confident in your self and do what makes you happy. Please yourself and no one can affect you!
