my husband and i have been trying to have a baby for the past two years i have been haveing sharp pains for the past week i don't know if it's my period they are never regular i have no other signs of bring pregant we really want a baby i am scared to take take a hpt scared it will turn up negative please give me advice we really want to become parents been to the doctor did the whole fertility thing for about 1 year and now we are trying again without the help of any medicine

do you have polycystic ovries? maybe a cyst burst and that's what the pains are?

Well those sharp pains could be anything. All I know is when you stress about wanting a baby that bad, that can cause for you to not be able pregnant. It's sort of like your trying too hard. If I was you I'd take a first responce pregnancy test tomorrow morning as soon as you get up. For now just relax, say a prayer, and stop thinking about getting pregnant, just let nature do it's thing. Drink some 7 up and eat crackers maybe that will relieve the sharp pains. If you are not pregnant this time then just start having sex with your hubby every other night, I know that a lot but that is the best solution for you!!!

I know what you mean, I haven't been trying that long, but still I understand. I have been having sharp pains too, it's crazy. I know it's not my period at all though. So I'm a little scared. Def. wait a little longer and then take a hpt. Oh and just relax and everything about the whole pregnancy. It makes it much easier on ya if you relax. I know it's hard though, expecially after trying for so long. I wish you luck!!! Good Luck and I hope everything turns out the way you want it!

Wait a couple of days, see if your period comes, and then take an HPT. I know what you are going through. DH and I have been trying for 15 months. Good luck, I hope this is for you.

Well you can just wait and see OR get a home pregnancy test and look at the results. You'll have to toughen up and LOOK at the test. Do you want to have a baby or not? You will need to do it eventually!
