How often should couples have sex in a week?

I don't think there should be a minimum or maximum amount of times. It all depends on your amount of energy and whether or not you are in the mood. You don't want to burn out on it. Yes, it can happen.
Try to be random if you can to help keep the excitement. If you can't try to plan a certain time of day maybe everyday or several times a week when you could if you want and not be rushed.

I have sex 8 or 9 times a week. Don't know how often my wife does.

Went to counseling twice in my marriage and both times the counselor said for a healthy marriage there needs to be sex at least 2 - 3 times a week. And that men, physically need this to be healthy and happy.
Funny part, my wife hasn't listened yet and I am feeling a lot of resentment towards her.

How much do each of the two of you need?
If one needs more than the other who is going to change. And why did you not discuss this before? Was there enough sex before marriage and now there is not enough or is there to much?
I'd think you would have thought about this when you were dating and trying to see if you could live with the other person.

I think a healthy marriage on average has sex at least twice a week. I also think toys and different locations add spice and excitement. I try to give it to my man on Sunday for sure so he starts his week off relaxed. It's really hot right now for women to learn stripping and many couples are installing a stripper pole ;-)

Maybe 3-4 times a week
If you can everyday but be creative with it
different styles, different places you know make it exciting
You dont want it to get old and boring

It is up to each couple how many times they are sexual with one another. There is no rule on how many times you have to have sex sometimes just being intimate is just as good.

And, both of you need to be a little flexible. There's nothing wrong with the husband or wife providing a little oral sex to please the wife or husband if he or she needs it.
It's all about taking care of your partners needs and making them feel wanted and loved.

Most newlyweds probably do it seven times a week. This of course tampers off as time goes by.
