what i do as i have the same irritating problem is i use a different razon for each side of my bikini area. i use a good quality brand razon, like daisy, nothin from the 99cent store unless name brand. trim hair short first with scissors. if you can manage to soak in a bath first to soften up the skin and to help open the hair follicles this helps. suds up really well or use a really moisturizing
shaving cream. shave the area while cleaning razor under runing hot water often. after shaving apply baby oil to the area and dry off. you can apply a calming lotion to the area and or a medicated powder. with me the hair starts to grow back with 24 hours and i have found that if i then shave the area everday(minus bath) in the shower then the bumps and rash is greatly lessened than if i wait until the hair has grown back in for a couple days. shaving 2-3 day old stubble really brings on a rash for me. you can actually by an ointment called bikini zone to put on after you shave, you can get it at walmart or target.

Try a different cream like Nair. There are a lot of different types of creams out now that don't smell bad and you don't have to leave them on for long at all. I have really sensitive skin so I have to be careful what I use, but I've found that Nair is great (just don't leave it on too long!). Also use Bikini Zone afterwards

i know for a FACT that fuzzy wuzzy shave cream from partygals is meant specifically for shaving the personal areas such as the bikini line and vagina...they come in several different scents and is gentle enough to use down there...I actually PREVENTS the bumps ( which is why i use it all over, i have VERY sensitive skin) as well as slows hair growth...

I had the same problem untill I started cutting the hair down instead of shaving it off... just go for a trimmed look instead of the bald look.

You may get the bumps anyway you do it because your skin has been irrated. I've used several different brands (I even used to pluck) and the one that worked best was El-Stop Gel (they no longer sell this brand) now I use Avon SOS Hair Removal Cream.
