I'm not going to lie, braces suck - but they do a good job in the long run of making your teeth look nice.
If your teeth are really crooked to begin with, the braces will look really bad at first. They will just highlight how messed up your teeth are. Once they start to go into place, it doesn't look too bad.
You could try to get those invisible/clear kind so they aren't as noticeable. Just don't get tacky colored bands or any kind of pattern - because that will just look ugly.
And most of all good luck - invest in lots of tylenol and soft foods like jello because braces usually hurt a lot.

Just think about how nice your teeth will look when you're done. I had braces and it wasn't a big deal. Plus, you could always get those braces that are clear. I know someone who got them and they worked great.

they may look weird at first but remember the outcome from the braces...you will have a beautiful smile...i was in braces for 5 years...nothing to worry about

dont worry i have braces and i thought they would look bad too. but actually, u get used to cing ur self with them and on somepeople they dont really look bad! just think of the perfect smile u will have when ur braces get taken off. there is some pain in the process but ull get through it :-) ur not the only one who has had to have braces, almost everybody has to wear braces one time in their life.

Don't worry about how the braces will look now. Think about how nice your teeth and smile will look when they come off.

talk to your dentist about the clear braces there plastic and u can take them off whenever u want

They have some called Invisiline or something like that and they are actually placed inside the teeth.
