This could be a sign of pregnancy but it's highly unlikely. Is your period always five days or do you have irregular periods? There are many factors that could cause this like stress, weight gain, weight loss, eating habits, etc. You won't really know for sure until next month. See if your period comes next month. Sometimes women do have minor bleeding when pregnant known as spotting. But it sounds to me like you are not pregnant. Have you had any pregnancy symptoms?

No. Your period is not "supposed" to last five days. That is just the most common length of time. Many women only have 3 day periods. Some have 6 day periods. Every woman is different. But if you think you are pregnant because you have other symptoms, then go see your OBGYN or take a home pregnancy test.

no, this is not a sign of pregnancy at all. The length of you period would have nothing to do with your period. This one was just shorter than the others. If it keeps up the next few months and if you are worried go to the doctor.
My period varies from month to month. Some months it may only last 2 days and others it can go on for over a week.

No not really, if you were physically more active this month than last that could also be the reason or if you are under stress or getting over from an illness,. When I was running in Track I would only get my period like a day or 2 and during normal season it went right back to 4 days

It's not a clear sign of pregnancy. It could be cause by many things - maybe your cycle is just a little bit off, maybe it's a hormonal fluctuation, maybe it's just a short period for this cycle, or maybe it is implantation bleeding and you have gotten pregnant. There are too many "maybe's" to know for sure that it is indeed a sign that you are pregnant.
Why don't you try to get a home pregnancy test and see whether you are indeed pregnant or not? Then you would not have to second guess yourself anymore.
Goodluck!

No, this is not a sign of pregnancy. Having any length of a cycle indicates you are not pregnant. A "normal" cycle for you may last 5 days, but stress, illness and many other factors can alter what your "normal" can be. If you have any doubts, or miss your next cycle, you can always take a pregnancy test to doulbe check.

No, but go get a pregnancy test if you are really worried.
In many cases for young women (under 20), period irregularity is a common thing. Sometimes, it won't come on regular timing, while in other cases, the duration of the period can vary. For some people, both can happen.

Unfortunately, no, its not a clear sign. My cycle is all over the place - 3 days one month, 6 days the next. It could just be you had an off month. Your first clear sign would be a positive pregnancy test.

It is not a clear sign. It may be a possibility though. You should look for other signs such as stress physical activity. Medications, illness etc. Call your OBGYN. If you are on the pill that can change your cycle too. I would not worry about it too much but you should be safe and just call and get a recommendation from the nurses at the office.
