Yes I'm sure you willbe fine and the baby will be fine as well, as long as you stay under the umbrella shade and stay hydrated so your body won't overheat.
Make sure you put on sunscreen - just for your sake, not necessarily for the baby. =)
Have fun and enjoy your outing with your niece! And congratulations on your pregnancy!

Going to the beach will do nothing but give you a little extra glow. The fresh air and sunshine will be good for you. Just drink plenty of water and take a spritz bottle with you so you can give yourself a misting time to time to help keep you cool. Don't forget to take something to munch on. Wear a hat if you find the heat a little uncomfortable. You may even want to go shopping with your niece before hand and let her help you pick out a bathing suit. They make some fabulous ones that grow with you and are very stylish to boot. Just go and have fun.

You bet its safe to go the beach. I went to the beach the entire time I was pregnant. I didn't tan or anything. I used sunscreen and limited the amount of time in the direct sun.
Go have fun with your neice!!

It is perfectly safe to visit the beach during your pregnancy. Just remember to drink plenty of water so you and the baby do not get overheated. Being in the water may actually relieve some of your discomforts during the later part of the pregnancy. Enjoy the time!

My whole family just got together in Florida, right on the beach, and my cousin (about four months pregnant at the time) was on the beach every single day (and in a bikini because she was barely showing). I'm sure she was slathered with sunlotion to protect her skin, she was even swimming in the ocean. I'm sure as long as you protect your skin (which everyone should do anyway!) you'll be fine. You're pregnant, not an invalid!

You can do most anything. You can swim, hang out on the beach, dance, run, bicycling, most anything you want to do with the exception of amusement park rides. You may be tired and hungry a lot but thats all normal. Enjoy her visit and do most of the things you did before.

yeah there's no reason you can't go to the beach, the only thing you should really be concerned about is flying once you reach 7 months....there's no reason you can go soak up some sun and play in the sand! enjoy this time you have cause you won't have it much longer!

YES! Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you can't have fun. Make sure you pack a lunch and drink plenty of water. Enjoy yourself and your niece.
