The dinosaurs were very large reptiles and they needed a great degree of warmth to maintain there temperature. Over the years they most likely died due to the changing temperatures.

I favor the idea that a meterorite hit in what we call the Gulf of Mexico. Causing enough dust to blanket the earth killing the easy environment and allowing only the hardiest plants and animals to survive.

All of the above. The earth began to change after the "flood" The world was no longer inhabitable by these large creatures. They then died out or evolved.

It would have to be either a natural catastrophe or from super asteroid that hit the Earth millions and millions of years ago. In any case, we humans (homosapiens) benefited from their demise.
