Try establishing a routine. Bath, brush teeth, drink, rocking chair ,bed every night. Even if it's hard at first, Keep doing it. If you have another one, to avoid this problem try doing what I did with my son. I bought the ocean wonders crib music thingy and the ocean wonders swing. From the day he was born every time it was time to sleep I turned on the music. Now I just hit the button and it makes him sleepy because he knows it's time for nite nite. No fuss.

Chuck E. Cheese would nicely be a rewarding position, besides the undeniable fact that it could be extra of a "take somewhat one lady and go away your son in the back of with a be conscious" particularly of an absolutely commerce. Your son will be fantastic see you later as you provide him a great number of tokens to exhibit how a lot you want him. merely undergo in ideas that you won't be able to commerce back even as your 15 12 months previous daughter comes homestead pregnant, or turns right into a stripper. you're on your man or woman.

We read books before we put my 2 1/2 year old to bed. She also has had a favorite, small stuffed animal "Blue Dog" that she has taken to bed since she was about one. She kind of caresses the dog as she falls asleep. Good luck.

Maybe if you out him in bed, and rub his back and read a story to him that will help. If not, if you have a rocking chair try rocking him, to sleep while reading the book, that usually works. Also try giving him a bottle while he goes to bed. That makes kids usually fall asleep.

let him cry it out, otherwise you will have to rub his back every night. Sometimes you will want to rub your babies back, but if you make a habit of it, you will never be able to stop. This is why Murph_ltt is still rubbing her 2 yr olds back (see above). He needs to learn to go to sleep on his own. It will be hard to listen to at first but stay strong and be consistent! Best of Luck to you!

my boys did the same thing. put him to bed tell him goodnight and that you love him, leave the room and close the door. if he gets back up take him back to his room don't stay in there any longer than it takes to cover him up and give him a kiss. my yonger son who is 2 1/2 was a little harder so i took him to a toy store and let him pick out a reasonably sized stuffed animal and that night i gave him the responsibilty to make sure (turtle) went night, night.

I think every child does that at his age. My two year old is still doing it. Keep rubbing and soothing him. This too shall pass, it just takes a really long time to out grow.

He wants to be awake coz he is sleepy! maybe he wants to do something[like play] and he is not been fully satisfied of all the things he's been doing! try to play with him or do something what he really wants..he is just a baby and im sure he'll get very tired and he cant' fight anymore so he'll just sleep.

It's called fighing sleep. He is trying to keep himself awake. Despite the fact that he is tired he would still rather be up playing. Just make it clear that it is bedtime and once you put him to bed do not allow him to get back up to play!
