I have a lot of hair, you can probably tell by looking at me because the hair on my head itself is really thick and strong but i have to pay for it. I have a mustache. I have hair on my stomach and chest area(yes im a girl)and my back and my butt. No i'm not exagerating. Plus,I have fairly light skin but have black hairs so it stands out. I'm scared to wear a swimsuit because of my stomach. (I cant stand one pieces either they irk the hell out of me when i'm wearing them so i have to wear a two piece and not necessarily a bikini or anything.) Oh yes, my arms are toatally covered too. And actually, the hair is constantly growing. Last month, the hair on my arms stopped at my wrists , but now it's on my hands, in the middle of them. i'm scared this may go on forever and i'll become a monkey or something. Is this a disease or just some weird type of growing? (I'm 14). And is there any way to stop it? Laser hair removal aside, my parents say it's way to early.

My dear! do not get depressed . it is not ur fault. These kind of problems are increasing nowadays and it is also due to our changed lifestyles.we do not exercise much, eat a lot of junk food, do not take care of healthy sleep at night and so many other factors to join the list.
What i will say that waxing off does the most for evone.but again u r too young!Even waxing whole ur body does not suit this age coz it is ur growing age.u need to wait for 5-6 yrs so that ur body system matures.
My mother is a doctor and she says that removing hair at such young age can disturb the growing process.
You should take a good and healthy diet first of all and take good care of ur skin.
Secondly you must consult a gynocologist and have some hormone tests because usually this kind problem happens due to increased production of male hormones in blood.
The condition u r in is called "HIRSUTISM" .
But again do not worry! It is quite possible that this problem decreases with the passage of time.
U just can have ur upperlip threaded or waxed weekly and have ur legs and arms waxed about evry 2 weeks. do not do waxing more than once in a week coz it will loosen ur skin as u r too young for allthese things.
I would say that u r still a just a young teenager so no one is going to point out this all.
C'mon dear relax.
God has created no one perfect.
We all have some defects otherwise how we are we going to accept that only God is the most powerful!

Waxing is the best, it reduces hair growth over a long period of time. Laser is quite risky, as some people had miserable experiences like permanent redness and such such.

You could have your arms, underarms and legs waxed in a good beauty shop. You can also have your upper lip waxed or simply get 'threading' done along with your eyebrows. Sensitive areas like your stomach and chest can be bleached. If you take a risk and wax those areas you may develop a rash or worse, get boils.

Avoid shaving because it only makes the hair grow thicker.

Wow, sounds like you've got a problem here. If I had this problem I think what I would do is start with the easiest simplest way and work my way up. I would try Nair (body hair removal creme) first. If that doesn't work I would wax. It will be painful but it might be worth it. Maybe seek medical advice. You might have some sort of rare disorder.

Good luck :)

You can't stop it from growing. Permanent solutions include laser or electrolysis which are time consuming and painful. Temporary solutions are waxing, shaving or sugaring, but all (except shaving if you do it yourself) involve some expense. At 14, you probably can't afford it.

Try laser removal or waxing. I dont know if it's a disease, but i was thinking it could be just genes, like some people sweat more than others, or some girls are flatchested while others r stacked.

laser hair removal would be the only way. maybe you shouls talk to your parent s a bit more until they can understand what you're going through. Good luck.

you could try that laser hair removal. Its expensive but it lasts forever. If you can't do that, you could try waxing the hair off or shaving(for your arms and such)

You need to talk with other girls who have the same problem and see what they are doing about it. Look on different web sites. This internet has everything under the sun.
