No, it isn't like getting an enema, and anyway some people find enemas quite pleasant. (There was a fashion for "colonic irrigation" a while ago, which is the same thing really.)
I can't love anyone from the back, but when I've been loved from the back, the main attraction has been knowing that, even just for half a minute, the boy I'm with is at the height of pleasure and he can't think of anything but me. It's not like getting an enema. For men, it is where their G-Spot is located and the best spot to give them pleasure. For women, they want to make their guy happy.
Before having it, you're supposed to shower yourself out, not eat, etc. etc. Sure, some people who don't know anything about anal can end up with an "enema result" but that doesn't mean it's used the exact same. It's used for pleasure, another way of having sex with no fear of getting a girl pregnant. We all have things that get us off and anal sex is a lot less grosser than scat.
