Prime Factors
In number theory, the prime factors of a positive integer are the prime numbers that divide into that integer exactly, without leaving a remainder. I have made a table listing the prime factors for numbers up to 10.(It could be expanded to 2000). To find the prime factors for larger numbers try the Prime Factor Calculator.
n Prime
Factors
1 1
2 Prime Number
3 Prime Number
4 2x2
5 Prime Number
6 2x3
7 Prime Number
8 = 2x2x2 (This the the Prime number of 8)
9 3x3
10 2x5

Hope that helped

so the prime numbers of 8 are 2*2*2. 2 is a prime number, meaning that only the number and 1 can go into it.
