why do some 60 year old women shop in the juniors sections? they look ridiculous?

While I am not yet 60 (I'm only 47), I shop in the Junior's section. I do because the smallest pant size in the ladies section is a 4 and I am a 2. I also occasionally purchase something that is considered "too young" for me because I still like to have fun. I also do not want to look like I'm 80 years old. We all like to feel young sometimes, and in our minds we usually are not as old as our years (I have a 26 year old daughter, but how can that be? It seems that I just graduated from high school). You'll understand someday.

I am aware of what looks ridiculous and what doesn't. I also know that there are some women (and teens, too) that think they can wear anything, when they can't. Those people probably don't have someone to gently steer them in the right direction. If you work in the sales department of a store, instead of laughing (even if it's only to yourself), try to honestly help the person by trying to find something that not only looks good on them but makes them feel good about themselves.

I don't know, but it was hilarious when i worked in the junior's section and these 60 yr olds would come and ask me for advice. At the mall where i worked at, they used to get off this bus and all shop together. I guess eventually, they figured out that they did look stupid because in a couple of days they would return the clothes and say that their daughter didn't like them, like they didn't realize that I was the person that helped them a few days ago when they were trying it on.

Why they look ridiculous? This is you future too. For example; If your grandchild's parents died and they are your responsibility I believe you will take the responsibility. On some special day or for basic needs you have to go in the juniors sections will you feel same. Do not judge other people give respect and take respect.

Are you aware other countries don't bash their elderly citizens, they respect them and honor them. Some of the comments I have seen on this question, many of you should be ashamed of yourselves.
