Why do guys blame hormones and accuse women of pms-ing when you get upset with them? Why do they think an overload of estrogen is the only reason we'd get mad at them? It never occurs to them that they may have done something wrong to piss us off, and there's actual logic (I know, it's a dirty word that men don't think women can comprehend) behind our reactions...

Its the man way. They blame everything else but themselves. It goes for everything.

Being a guy i feel like i have to defend this.

Yes, saying "oh, shes pmsing" is wrong, and the guy should be slapped because it's disrespectful. But the reason that saying exists is because there is some truth to it. It's a medical fact that when women do go through that there can be some diffrences in the attitude, mood, and overall feeling. I've seen and heard women (not all women) use it as an excuse for their behavior, and that can be true. I've also seen men and heard men (not all men) use that same excuse to describe how a woman is feeling.

So, it's on both sides of the spectrum, some women use it as an excuse and some men use it as a way to describe how their girl friend is feeling (or wife). So, it's not all one sided. So maybe you should think about that before all of you women who feel like bashing men go on a rampage.

Some women DO ruin for the rest of us. Let's not forget that. Some women blame every bad mood they have on PMS... like 12 times a month. (Maybe those girls should see a doctor...)

The women who DON'T suck at life don't blame their period for their issues with a guy. I certainly don't. I KNOW damn well when my monthly PMS cycle is coming. If I'm pissed and it's 2 weeks too early for the "PMS Card" bullshit, then I tell my man straight that I'm upset and we need to work it out.
In fact, he never even accuses me of PMS when we argue or fight. Because my fights are not illogical and irrational. If I'm crying and I haven't even said a word yet, chances are, I'm PMSing and mind your own damn business. I'll tell you if I'm overreacting because of it or not.
Men who accuse women of PMSing when they're angry are so full of ****. They have no idea how to read the woman they are in a relationship or they have a really crappy-*** woman who is not worth taking the time to read.

It's a problem on both sides of the fence, but men shouldn't blame and steriotype ALL women for being PMS-Crazed whores who yell at people all the time for no reason other than blood and cramps.

On the flipside, women shouldn't assume that every man thinks you're overly PMSing every time you're upset. And you shouldn't use the PMS EVER as an excuse for ANY REASON OTHER THAN CRYING. Otherwise, it just gives them firing power to use on you every time you get angry... and we all know that just makes us MORE angry.

I know it is a loaded question but I'll give you my best response. PMS is pretty obvious to the guy. It is a sad thing for a woman to go through and a cruel thing. I only wish women who have it would take the proper medication to soften it for them. It is unpleasant for you and the guy and he will usually point it out to you without being very gentle about it. Sorry Ladies.

Because it is an easy excuse for them. They don't want to take responsibility for what they have done so they try to blame it on PMS. And in a way they are right........PMS=Putting up with Men's Sh*T! lol

If it WAS logic, then the lady must understand that many "small" things do not carry an emotional attachment, especially for men. So she "spazzes" out on me not putting the dishes away, instead of 'taking one for the team' and simply do it herself- at least men would do it, had they noticed. Yeah, we know u get tired of doing it sometimes, but understand, to have FUNCTIONAL relationship, it requires give and take, compromise. So...yeah, put up with it, because do you realize what we gotta put up with, just to have a romantic hour? Ha ha.

I only use it when I know it to be true, like with my wife.
If I suspect it with anyone else I stay away for about 5 days becuase some people get mad at anything and nothing while PMSing

because it usually is pms, and some women use that as an excuse for bad behavior. you can't have it both ways, you can't pretend to be illogical and then claim logic. want to see how logical you really are, go program the clock on the vcr next time you are in your menses. nuf said

Because if it's not the PMS that's causing her lousy behavior, then that means she's a b*tch ALL THE TIME, which of course means that he has a responsibility to himself to dump her.

When a guy says "she's on the rag" to excuse her behavior, he's also using it as rational for not breaking up with her. So ironically, when a guy who uses this "PMS card" as you call it, it means that he actually loves her enough to not dump her, despite the fact that she's irritating the crap out of him.

Of course, it might also be a sign that he's making exuses for not dumping a lousy choice of girlfriend...

because you ladies get upset over things that are completely meaningless, lots of times it's something that we don't care or even think about, and then it's a big deal for no reason so we chalk it up to the pms making you irrational.

because some times when women get mad its for silly irrational reasons which leaves no other explanation than the fact that women have at times unstable emotional states of mind
